We know very little about the prospects for the survival or potential long-term success of PanAmSat. The company does make money, and doesn't have that much debt. But revenues are expected to be flattish next year, and the stock currently trades at 76 times next year's .25 cents earnings estimate.

What we also know is that the Fibonacci rhythm of this stock's 2001 descent looks far from complete. $15.30 may yield some support, but is $9.47 in the cards down the road?
