The Chart du Jour
The last few days have brought false moves lower in soybeans, corn, and several other commodity markets. We say this as we note a big up-move Wednesday in Wheat -- a move that appears to be leading the ag-sector back higher once again.
When we look at both of the charts above of the PHLX XAU Precious Metals Index and the Cash CRB, we see potentially very bullish pictures.
In the XAU chart, we have drawn a number of different down-channels in different colors. It is our opinion that if prices can punch through the down-channel depicted in pink, that we could easily head to the down-channel depicted in green.
In the CRB chart, we note bullish divergence on the 5-day/35-day oscillator well-known to many Advanced GET software users. This is a bullish picture as well.
It's time for these markets to come alive, to get off the pot (so to speak), and to finally start really moving!
