The Chart du Jour
As the Middle East slumps toward outright war, we note that financial astrologer Arch Crawford -- always an analyst that we find an interesting adjunct to our own Fibonacci and Elliott work -- prognosticated in his October newsletter (released Oct. 2nd) that Friday, October 13th will be a "memorable day," followed by a mild slow down in the action into October 18th, followed in turn by an October 26-27 period where he sees "oil/metals on the move" and possible "assassination." Overall, the heavens, according to Crawford, would seem to be aligned to "hostile/ugly/negative/difficult" times all the way into early November. Al Gore's Presidential hopes are, ergo, going to come under severe pressure as many un-resolved excesses of the past four years appear quite literally to go up in smoke.
We're not atuned enough to Crawford's type of analysis at Sand Spring to truly pass judgement on its specific merits, but as the ancient Sumarian credo goes: "As above, so below." Given our strong belief in a given Fibonacci rhythm to the world, this rhythm has to come from somewhere. Maybe someday people will be looking back at Crawford as we do today to Leonardo Fibonacci. Just maybe he understands something the rest of us don't.
